“In Response to NBC Letter to Residents regarding Registration and Traffic Management Plan Implementation – Scotland Island dated 13th May 2021.
Despite the current setback and after years of work SIRA remains resolved to supporting the Community’s chosen use, of Golf Buggies as their and our preferred form of light transport on our Island.
We will continue to work with NBC to find a solution and get a better response and outcome for the community, especially for those who have supported the process to date by completing the preliminary inspection process so these light vehicles can be used safely and legally to protect the community and all shared road users.”
