ROADWORKS SCHEDULED FROM JUNE 3

Council staff will be on the Island carrying out emergency maintenance after storm damage in certain locations commencing June 3 weather permitting.

The work is anticipated to continue for approximately two weeks.

Locations:  Carol’s Hill, Cecil Street, Hilda Avenue, various drains and pits Island-wide.

Drainage works are also being carried out on Robertson between Cargo and the “Yamba” corner under the scheduled Capital Works Program. These works will require the road to be closed from Wednesday, June 3 to Friday June 5.  Please use an alternative route during this time.

Please try to avoid the other areas if driving a vehicle so work is not unnecessarily interrupted.
