Prescribed Burn Notification Sat 23rd Sept- Catherine Park (East) Scotland Island
The RFS, on behalf of Northern Beaches Council, will be conducting a hazard reduction burn on the eastern side of Catherine Park on Saturday 23rd September.
Residents in the area should keep doors and windows closed and keep outdoor furniture under cover.
There will be fire vehicles and crews operating in the area. Please avoid it if you can. If you must pass through the area please slow down, proceed with caution and follow the instructions of fire crews.
If you normally park a vehicle along Robertson Rd (especially the newly resurfaced stretch of road) please don’t park there between 8 am and 5 pm Saturday to allow fire crews access to the burn area.
