SIRA News: EOI for playwright role

After the amazing success of The Two Catherines, Northern Beaches Council is helping SIRA fund another dramatisation based on Scotland Island’s colourful history: the Three Underworld Queens. Tilly Devine, Kate Leigh and Nellie Cameron were the notorious rulers of Sydney’s competing criminal gangs. Tilly famously owned a home on Scotland island.

If you are inspired to tell this story for the stage, SIRA is seeking expressions of interest from playwrights or aspiring playwrights to work alongside the creative team from The Two Catherines: A twisted Scotland Island tale.

You would be paid a fee of $4,500 and work would need to be completed in six months.
