Ausgrid Reliability Project
The final work, taking place in the week beginning May 9, will involve both a power outage and roadworks.
Overhead crews will be working at the corner of Harold Avenue and Richard Road (Carols Corner) on Tuesday, May 10 and Wednesday, May 11, which will result in road closures for short periods of time, and a general increase in workers in the area.
Final works and backfilling will be completed on Thursday, May 12 and Friday, May 13, also requiring road closures.
Residents using vehicles are advised to avoid this area next week and use Thompson Street between Harold Avenue and Hilda Avenue.
See below outage notice for May 11, including map, for the affected area.

We understand the added inconvenience caused by COVID-19, especially as more people work from home. That’s why we are doing everything we can to reduce the length of the interruption during this difficult period.
We may need access to your meter board to allow for testing but you do not need to be home to provide this access. We apologise for the inconvenience and we thank you for your patience while we complete this critical work.
