The SIRA Waste Management Subcommittee liaises with Northern Beaches Council and local residents to:
- promote effective waste and recycling service practices on the island
- review the correct presentation and effectiveness of general and vegetation collections
- encourage residents to manage weeds and effective composting on their property.
