REMINDER
As notified in the March 22 SIRA News, upcoming roadworks will impact access to some island roads. In addition to the below, we have been advised that during the period below there should be no parking on Robertson Road between Cargo and Catherine Park due to the movement of very large trucks
Notice of Upcoming Works
Roadworks: Catherine Park
Please be aware that Northern Beaches Council has scheduled to commence road asphalting works to the road adjacent Catherine Park. The work is anticipated to commence on Tuesday 4th April and be completed over a 3-day period to Thursday 6th April.
The works will impact traffic and pedestrian movements between the hours of 7am and 5pm. Traffic management measures will be in place to ensure the works are carried out safely. We request all vehicle movements be planned around core work hours. Please note access to Robertson Road will be impacted throughout the works and only resident access will be provided (no vehicles). Alternative routes such as Richards Road and Florence Terrace will not be impacted by the works.
We please ask that no vehicles or private property is placed in the parking areas adjacent Cargo Wharf as there will be large truck movements and machinery located here that are essential for the success of the project. These vehicles and private property will need to be relocated by Monday 3rd April.
