Amon grants application extended to 20 November.

SIRA received this correspondence from Councillor Rory Amon. Community groups are invited to apply for grants of up to $500.

APPLICATION CLOSE DATE EXTENDED TO 20 NOVEMBER

In case you missed my recent email, I am excited to announce that the next round of the Amon Community Grants is now open to applicants! Applications now close on 20 November.

Each year, I donate a part of my Councillor fee to local not-for-profit organisations to give back to the many community organisations who do so much for Pittwater ward and our Northern Beaches.

This round of the program includes a grant pool of $5,000. Grants between $200 to $500 are available for community organisations to help with projects or purchase items which benefit our community and environment. 

Grants previously awarded in the Amon Community Grants program are listed below.

The application process is quick and easy so please apply by clicking here or below. All applications are assessed by an independent panel. Below are some Application Quick Tips.

• Grants seeking funding for tangible items which provide immediate benefit have been the most successful.

Grants relating directly to Pittwater Ward or provide some benefit to Pittwater Ward are prioritised (e.g. a Sports Club or charity based in Pittwater Ward, or an organisation which provides services or benefit to Pittwater Ward residents)
