COMMUNITY VEHICLE: Christmas and New Year Service Announcement and COVID guidelines

Christmas Eve:

Service stops at 6 pm

Christmas Day:

9 am to 12 noon ONLY. Please call Christmas Eve to arrange pickup and check driver availability.

Boxing Day:

No service

New Year’s Eve:

Service stops at 6 pm

Wednesday service has resumed, but there is still no service on Sunday.

Service hours are unchanged between 8am to 8pm as per normal guidelines.

COVID GUIDELINES FROM EASYLINK

For the health and safety of our volunteer drivers and passengers we ask that that you refrain from using the community vehicle if you are feeling unwell. 

Similarly, people in self-isolation at the direction of medical or health authorities must also refrain from using the community vehicle.

For those who are travelling in the community vehicle, please note the requirements:

  • ·       All travel must be in accordance with current Public Health Orders
  • ·       Masks must be worn at all times
  • ·       QR sign-in is available and is recommended
  • ·       Hand sanitiser and anti-bacterial wipes are available
  • ·       Passengers to ride in back seat where practical to do so
  • ·       Passengers can now ride share if preferred
  • ·       Passengers are requested to have the correct fare

Please ring to confirm vehicle availability before leaving the Island to go shopping
