The Scotland Island Traffic Management Plan

The Northern Beaches Council is currently working closely with the Roads subcommittee to impliment a new traffic management plan for the island. This will have significant changes and impact on island life, particularly with road users. Please see here for council information.

The Roads and Drainage Subcommittee

Roads are a major issue in the island, and the Roads and Drainage Subcommittee works to:

  • engage with island residents as appropriate on issues concerning roads and drainage.
  • liaise with Northern Beaches Council in all matters concerning roads and drainage on Scotland Island, with particular reference to the Scotland Island Road Reserve Management Strategy and the Scotland Island Road Reserve and Stormwater Management Implementation Plan adopted by the former Pittwater Council in 2011.
