Island Players (Photo June Lahm)

Did you see The Rocky Horror Show, Goose!, Open for Inspection, Island Duhs, Ladies Sing the Blues, Scotland Idols, Anyone for Tennis, The Blues Brothers, Iskybibble, Caravan or The Commitments?

If you saw one of these performances, you will know how much talent we have on the island. If not … what have you been doing for the last five years? You’ve missed out on a lot of fun!

The Scotland Island Players are a community theatre group based on the Island but we welcome all offshore residents. Our aim is to entertain by bringing comedy, drama, revues, panto and just plain pleasure to the offshore community.

Join the Island Players

To ensure you don’t miss out next time why not join the Island Players? Everyone is welcome. It doesn’t matter if you can’t act, dance or sing, you can either learn or take part in one of the other many fun-filled and rewarding community activities involved in putting on a show, like lighting, sound, scenery design, set building, costume design and making, props, backstage, hair and makeup, front of house, ticket sales, or publicity. Join in our workshops, play readings or rehearsals but don’t forget the obligatory wine and nibbles! Or maybe you would just like to be a “silent supporter” — that’s OK too.

Check for rehearsals and performances in the calendar.
