SIRA News: Newcomers’ welcome at the October 26 cafe; call out to businesses for info for newcomers

.#Newcomers’ welcome and information day at the October 26 cafe – come and get a free coffee and learn about island life! 

Residents who have just moved to the island (or are just feeling a bit new!) are invited to a special information day, to be held at the café in Catherine Park during the 26^th October Sunday island café (10 am to 12 noon. We’d love to meet you and give you the opportunity to get to know more residents.

If you are new to the island, we’re shouting you coffee! Please register and get a coffee voucher and put your coffee order in early (around 10.30 am) as there is often a queue.

There will be information on SIRA, the fire brigade, emergencies, the community vehicle and bush care and more.

We’ll give you a heads up about various social and cultural groups, and some island businesses and service providers will be on hand to tell you what they have on offer.
