The Rural Fire Brigade sessions moved to Sunday 11 January due to extraordinary heat today. Sessions now at the following Community fire boxes:
- 8am – Bell Wharf
- 9am – Cargo Wharf
- 10am – Florence Terrace
- 11am – Elizabeth Park East
- 12noon – Elizabeth Park West
Keep your tanks full in summer!
A reminder too, that the only water we have to fight fires is in your water tanks.
Keep your tanks full throughout summer incase of emergencies. Top them up regularly and never let them run dry.
Catch any rain you can around your property in extra tanks – even if you don’t use it in your house, collect it off your roof for fire fighting.
The emergency water line is still busy so get in now and book your next top up – you never know, it could save your house, or your neighbours.
Merchant of Venice – Postponed
Sadly, at the request of the Jewish community, the performance of Shakespeare’s Merchant of Venice has been postponed.
