Scotland Island is located in Pittwater, an estuary of Broken Bay, and is about 25km north of the centre of Sydney on the east coast of Australia.It is an island of 175 acres and attains a height of 95 metresat its peak. It has about 330 houses and a population of about900 people. About 300 of these are part time residents who stayusually on weekends and holidays. The closest landfall on themainland is Church Point which is only about 350 metres acrossthe water from the southern side of the Island.
