Over
the years, Scotland Island and the Bays have been home to many writers
and poets. The Scotland Island festival this year will celebrate
this rich literary heritage with readings and displays. In a large
marquee near the water, events will display the creativity of the
written expression that has emerged from this place
The festival
will include:
Children’s
Writing and Bookmaking Workshops
Workshops will be run on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 October from
11 am to 2:30 pm. Children will write and illustrate their own books,
which will then be displayed at the writers’ tent. Please
