Writers Festival

Over the years, Scotland Island and the Bays have been home to many writers and poets. The Scotland Island festival this year will celebrate this rich literary heritage with readings and displays. In a large marquee near the water, events will display the creativity of the written expression that has emerged from this place

The festival will include:

Workshops will be run on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 October from 11 am to 2:30 pm. Children will write and illustrate their own books, which will then be displayed at the writers’ tent. Please see the Workshop section for more information.
